Activating faith starts with self-relection.

There have been many moments in my life where I believed I was walking in faith… but in truth, I was just standing still. Not moving. Not sowing. Not growing. I was stuck—spiritually paused—while life kept moving forward, crashing wave after wave upon me.

Faith that stands still in self-knowledge alone—without action, without surrender—fails to produce new seeds of hope for others. And what good is faith if it doesn’t bloom into something that nourishes the broken, the weary, the hopeless? What good is faith if it’s trapped inside of us, hidden behind closed lips and folded hands that never reach?

I’ve fallen short more times than I care to admit. I’ve claimed I was waiting on God when, truthfully, God was waiting on me. Waiting on me to step. To speak. To sow. To do.

You see, faith is not meant to be silent or still when storms roar. Faith is not the absence of fear—it is the audacity to move despite it. It’s the courage to say, “Even now, I trust You.” It’s the fire that won’t go out even when the rain falls heavy.

Too often, we confuse stillness for obedience, when really, it’s hesitation dressed in spiritual language. Yes, there are times when God calls us to be still and know… but there are also times when He calls us to go, to act, to build, to fight, and to stand boldly in the very places we once trembled.

My friend, if your faith has been parked in silence—if you’ve been sitting on dreams, assignments, or healing out of fear or fatigue—this is your call to rise. Let the flame of your belief be seen in motion. Let it speak louder than words ever could. Let your life become the testimony your soul’s been writing in the dark.

Don’t just sit and ponder when trials come. Don’t just pray—prepare. Don’t just hope—help. Don’t just wait—worship while working. Because faith without works is dead… but when ignited, it breathes resurrection.

So today, move.
Speak.
Believe out loud.
Sow where you once feared drought.
And watch God water what you dared to plant.

Your action is your amen.
Let your faith live.
