Understanding, honoring, and valuing your mother while she is living is often misunderstood until one has aged and / or have children of their own. However, that value increases once she leaves this world, leaving behind lessons eother taken for granted or overlooked. Still, it is never too late to learn and continue the lessons that have been taught.

A MOTHER’S TEACHINGS

Hush my children… please listen well.
You need to know where I now dwell.

I am in Heaven and I am not alone.
For I’m assisting my Father at his throne.

I finished on earth all that he wanted me to.
So he made me an angel to better guide you.

For there’s no other way more promising than his.
And that’s the first lesson that I taught you as kids.

If you should ever need me I’m closer than before.
Remember that it is not that you won’t see me anymore.

So go ahead and cry and grieve if you must.
Don’t grasp on to anger for it’s God you must trust.

For he makes no mistakes… No, not one at all.
Praise his name and prepare for your call.

My husband, my children and all my loved ones,
Allow me to rest and let God’s will be done.

Grab hands and hold tight… Bow down and pray.
Continue to consult me for I am your mother always.

All things that I have taught you were taught out of love.
It’s the key that unlocks the gate to God’s kingdom above.

Hush, my children… please listen well. These gentle words echo from a mother’s heart that now resides in Heaven, still guiding her children from above.

Even in her absence, the message is clear: ‘I am your mother always.’ Her legacy is the wisdom she imparted, the spiritual foundation she laid, and the unwavering love that points us to God.

“A mother’s voice never fades it becomes the whisper of wisdom in your spirit, the strength in your silence, and the love that guides you home. Even from Heaven, her lessons live on.”
Jacqueline Stigall

In ‘A Mother’s Teachings,’ we are reminded that death is not the end it is a transition. A mother’s love continues beyond the grave, becoming an angelic presence that intercedes with the Father, gently leading those left behind.

This poem encourages us not to grieve in despair but to hold tight to our faith, to bow down and pray, and to live out the lessons taught in love.

Let us remember: God makes no mistakes. Praise His name and prepare your heart for one day, we too will be called home. And when that day comes, may our own teachings reflect the faith of those who loved us first.
