There’s a  song I grew up hearing in my home church that still echoes in my heart today; “Please be patient with me, God is not through with ne yet.”

Every time those words were sung, you could feel the sanctuary shift. Shoulders relaxed, tears fell, and hearts softened because we were reminded that God’s work in us is still in progress. None of us are finished products. None of us have arrived.

In a world quick to criticize, rush, and judge, we sometimes forget that patience is a reflection of God’s love. Just as He is patient with us forgiving, guiding, and shaping, we must learn to be patient with ourselves and with one another.

Every stumble, every delay, every lesson learned the hard way is part of God’s refining process. He doesn’t rush what He plans to make beautiful. And though we may not see the masterpiece yet, the Artist is still painting.
So today, give yourself permission to breathe. To grow at God’s pace, not your own. To love others even while they’re still learning who they are. Because the same grace that covers you covers them too.

Let’s whisper together:
“Lord, please be patient with me. I’m still under construction, but I thank You for never giving up on me.”

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen. 🙏🏽

Scripture Reflection:

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
(Philippians 1:6)

Be Blessed 🙌

  1. Such a heartfelt message. That song still speaks truth. God’s not done with us yet. I’m so thankful for His patience, grace, and the way He keeps shaping us every day.

    1. Amen. Without his patience with us… the wonderment of where we may end after this life is over is quite scary. I thank Him for His mercy and grace; but even moreso, His forgiveness. I just pray that we all work harder to be patient with our fellow man. Be Blessed 🙌.
