Life has a way of forcing us to pause and reflect on our choices, our values, and the paths we’ve taken. We often find ourselves seeking peace, clarity, and purpose, yet battling confusion, heartache, and unmet goals along the way. Self Evaluation is more than a simple reflection; it is an honest look into the struggles that shape us and the quiet hope that change is still possible. Through these words, may you find yourself questioning not only where you are but also where you long to be.

SEEKING

Change of life… Peace within,
Strongly seeking a true friend.

Confused mind… In hopes to be,
A better person strong and free.

Steps behind… Goals to reach,
Values of life one must teach.

Shattered heart… Divided in pain,
With many losses and plenty gains.

Temporary solutions… Answers unfound,
What must one do to turn their life around?

Life doesn’t always make sense. Sometimes it feels more like a dream we’re trying to decode than a clear path we’re walking. That’s why I wrote ‘Seeking’—because I, too, have wrestled with questions that had no easy answers.

From existing on earth to living eternity with God.

What is life really about?

Why do we feel pain?

Why does faith stretch us even when we’re trying our best to hold on?

These questions don’t make you weak. They make you human.

REFLECTION

This poem reflects on personal struggles and aspirations for inner peace and transformation.

Key Points:

  • Desire for Change and Peace: The opening lines suggest a longing for meaningful change and tranquility in life.
  • Inner Conflict: The “confused mind” conveys uncertainty while aspiring to become stronger and free.
  • Life’s Challenges: References to being “steps behind” and striving for goals illustrate ongoing struggles and the importance of values.
  • Emotional Pain: A “shattered heart” divided in pain symbolizes personal losses and hardships.
  • Uncertain Solutions: The poem closes by acknowledging that temporary fixes are not enough and poses the critical question of how to truly turn one’s life around.

Overall, this piece emphasizes self-reflection, growth, and the journey to finding purpose and resolution despite hardships.

It is intended for anyone who has ever felt lost while still believing. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to search, to cry, to question, and still hold on to hope.

Every faithful heart will face pain. But pain doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It means you’re alive. It means your soul is awake, aware, and waiting for more.

So keep seeking. God sees you. And even in the unknown, He’s already guiding your next step.

“Life is not always what it seems full of questions without clear answers, pain wrapped in purpose, and dreams that stretch beyond reason. Yet even in the unknown, a faithful heart finds its way.”
